Steps to Fix QuickBooks Scan Manager Could Not Be Selected Error.
If your QuickBooks Scan Manager could not be selected, you can create a scan profile and test your scanner to resolve the problem. Let us know how to do that.
Fix 1 – Create the Scan Profile
First of all, you need to select the Documents option from the Company menu. Then, you can select the Doc Center option.
Next to this, you can choose Scan a Document.
After that, choose the New option in order to set up your new profile or you can also select an existing scan profile.
At this point, you are required to edit the name for your profile and select Continue.
At last, you can adjust your profile settings as per the requirement and click on the Save button.
Fix 2 – Set up and Test the Scanner
In the second step, you can Highlight your profile and hit the Select button.
Next, you need to choose the Scanner Setup Wizard option which is located in the Select Scanner window.
Note: In the current selection field, your screen should display your scanner. In case you do not see your scanner then select Yes and hit the Next button in order to install the latest scanner database.
Now you can choose the appropriate mode. It is basically considered a Normal mode.
After this, check the box that says Perform Tests and go with Next option.
At this point, you can select the test that you want to run. Then, click on the Next option twice to proceed to the scan test.
