My husband and I have been married for a little over a year.
We both got married in Texas, but recently moved to California.
We attended a dissolution brief and they explained California divorce laws.
California states that we would have to have lived in California for at least 6 months until one of us can file for a divorce.
We have no property, no kids, no joint finances.
How will I be able to file for a Texas divorce if I'm living out of state? Would I have to use some online services to start the process, like this https://onlinedivorcer.com/blog/what-to-know-about-serving-a-spouse-that-lives-in-another-state? Are there any reputable online divorce websites?
This would be an agreed divorce.
Thanks in advance.
