It's not the first time I've heard that many people meet online, but is it really a good solution?

I don't like dating sites because of these disadvantages:

Anonymity. It is unfortunate, but in many cases people on dating sites turn out to be far from what they originally appeared to you.

The likelihood of meeting unserious men. Who you just do not meet on the online spaces.

Distraction.
