On switching to the multi-user mode, I started facing issues with my company file. This was due to the QuickBooks Error 6189 816. I tried many solutions, but this is what worked best for me-
Open QuickBooks Tool Hub.
Tap on the Network Issues tab.
Choose QuickBooks Database Server Manager.
Click on the Start Scan button.
If the screen does not show Start Scan as a button, you can Browse the file and then hit the Start Scan button.
The QuickBooks Database Server Manager will diagnose and repair the issues in your program.
Press Close after the completion.
Access QuickBooks on the server and workstations.
